Formula SAE - Ev
Established in 2023, the Formula SAE - EV team participates in the Formula Society of Automotive Engineers electrical vehicle racing series. Students design and manufacture a formula style car, powered solely by electricity, throughout the year to race in a competition in June each year. During these competitions, the car faces static, design and dynamic events, testing the car’s design and performance before culminating in an endurance race at the end of the 3 day competition.

UGA Motorsports is dedicated to giving students the hands-on experience vital for becoming the next generation of automotive engineers. With testing days, mock competitions, and other events, our team is able to test the limits of our car, and improve our car based on the feedback. In a growing industry, our team sets out to give students experience with electrical vehicles to prepare them for employment in the changing marketplace.
